Technical Sales Manager - Poultry (m/f)

As a partner to both our customers and other Biomin colleagues you focus on the following:

Following the establishment of the Biomin UK Ltd business unit back in early 2014 (rural office just north of Gloucester), we are now looking to further extend our business via recruiting a dynamic and self-motivated Poultry Technical Sales Manager, responsible for sales and technical support in both the UK and Irish markets.

You will need to be close to the UK market to drive Biomin UKs further poultry industry development. This is a key UK Management role in further developing the UK business unit.

Reporting to the Biomin UK Ltd Managing Director, the role will encompass responsibility for:

  • Poultry Sales: generating & supporting sales of Biomin products across the region to both new & established customers, via developing strong & improved relationships with feed companies, merchants & distributors, as well as directly to farms.
  • Technical Support: providing to both current and prospective customers, working with the Biomin Groups team of Technical Managers (who are available to regularly visit UK & Ireland from the continent).
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with a range of industry contacts and stakeholders

To leave real 'foodprints' with us you need the following skills:

  • Proven relevant experience & successful track record of Sales & Key Account Management in the UK/Ireland poultry industry
  • Will have a network of key decision making contacts in both the UK & Irish poultry industry
  • Self-motivated, with a “can do” & cheerful attitude (essential), promoting a positive image of the Biomin brand & products
  • Knowledge of gut health products (e.g. phytogenics, probiotics, prebiotics, acidifiers) and mycotoxin remediation products would be a major benefit
  • Customer focused, with good communication & IT skills
  • Ability to work on their own most of the time, but also as part of a team
  • Highly flexible, well organised, practical, with a “never say die” attitude
  • Location: ideally based in the centre of England, either working from home or from the Gloucester office
