Drug Safety Data Analyst – Maternity Leave Replacement (m/f/d)


Your new challenges which will inspire you:

  • Understand and translate data retrieval needs into formal database queries
  • Statistical evaluation of medical data with special emphasis on pharmacovigilance data and signal detection
  • Generate standard and ad-hoc reports, tabulations and graphs for regulatory submissions as well as for in-house use
  • Support validation and testing of the pharmacovigilance database and associated IT systems
  • Participation in planning, realization and documentation of software tests and other validation tasks
  • Participation in development and maintenance of the Drug Safety Database (Access 2007, Oracle, SQL-Server) and associated IT systems
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of standardized operating procedures

Your profile that will convince us:

  • Degree in scientific field, with a sound knowledge in biological/medical data analysis and management
  • Experience with statistical data analysis
  • Comprehensive computer literacy, in particular regarding databases (SQL query writing) and programming skills (XML,PHP, Visual Basic, Access)
  • Experience with GXP related IT projects
  • Very good verbal and written English
  • High level of accuracy with attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Personal skills: confident presentation, flexibility, time management and organisational skills as well as ability to work independently
