These are the tasks we trust in you:

  • Leadership of a project dedicated to recombinant enzyme production
  • Application and further development of molecular gene expression tools and clone screening systems
  • Engineering of established protein production hosts and exploration of new production systems
  • Development of innovative solutions for overcoming enzyme production bottlenecks
  • Active involvement in external collaborations and implementation of gained knowledge

To leave your foodprint with us you need the following skills:

  • A graduate (preferably PhD) scientist with project management experience
  • Expertise in heterologous protein production in different expression systems (bacterial, fungal, etc.)
  • Experience in the field of strain engineering and production clone screening
  • Sound knowledge of Molecular Biology techniques and enzyme characterization
  • Team spirit and hunger for success

Due to Austrian legal requirements we have to state that the minimum legally defined salary for this position is EUR 22.400,- gross per year (full-time). Our actual remuneration packages are in line with attractive market salaries.
